Software Engineer Graduate Programme – September 2025
Do you want to join the Tech department with one of the world’s best news organisations?
What to expect from each team:
- In the Platforms team you will work on building high-traffic, scalable software APIs using Cloud Computing practices. You will get a full understanding of the entire Software Development lifecycle with an in-depth focus in Backend development architecture using OOP techniques and principles in Java and Python.
- In the Data team you will work on implementing complex data pipelines and APIs using Cloud Computing best practice to establish trustful data integrations across all sources.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Please note that this scheme is not open to established Software Engineer professionals.

The assessment centre will be conducted on Friday 7 March and you may be invited to complete pre-assessments beforehand. The successful candidates will join the team in September 2025.
