We are looking for a People & Learning Administrator to join our People Team and play a key role in supporting the employee experience across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both People Operations and Learning & Development, helping to deliver the processes, programmes and initiatives that support our colleagues to thrive and grow. In this varied role, you will contribute to the smooth running of core People activities while helping to coordinate learning opportunities that enable career development and business success. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple workstreams, building relationships and making a positive impact in a fast‑paced environment. Core Administrative Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for People and L&D queries via shared inboxes, providing first‑line support and escalating where appropriate.
  • Deliver a consistent, customer‑focused administrative service to employees and stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Maintain accurate records, JML (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) trackers, and documentation, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the upkeep of People and L&D systems, platforms, and SharePoint/Teams pages, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Produce routine reports and trackers to support People and L&D activity.
  • Support People Team projects and initiatives as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People Team, Finance, IT, and external suppliers.

People Operations Administration

  • Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, contractual changes, parental leave, flexible working, and leaver documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding administration, including right‑to‑work checks, references, DBS checks, inductions, and probation administration.
  • Maintain employee records and update People systems with new starter, leaver, and contractual changes.
  • Respond to reference requests (including ex‑employee, mortgage, and visa‑related references).
  • Support benefits administration, including enrolments, changes, and employee queries.
  • Support the maintenance of People policies and procedures.

Learning & Development Administration

  • Maintain the L&D calendar and support the coordination of learning activity across the business.
  • Schedule training sessions, workshops, and lunch & learn events, managing logistics, attendees, and facilitators.
  • Support vendor administration for L&D suppliers, including setup, onboarding, and invoicing, working with Finance as required.
  • Administer training agreements and maintain accurate records of attendance and learning‑related spend.
  • Support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course enrolments and access, content updates and administration of performance conversations.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HR and/or Learning Management systems.
  • Previous experience supporting benefits administration (desirable).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information.
  • Structured, methodical, and process‑oriented.
  • Proactive, flexible, and customer‑focused.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
