We are currently hiring for a Network Engineer to support our Building Services provider client for an initial 3-6 months contract assignment based in Reading. The role requires 1-2 days on site in Reading and the rest can be carried out remotely. (The duration is very likely to extend) Experience and technical skills: Minimum of 5 years experience as a network engineer. Focused experience on the Wifi deployment + trouble-shooting side. Ideally with Aruba. Experience of delivering within global and matrixed teams, with both internal and 3rd party implementation partners and network service providers. Ability to take ownership of challenges, deep dive technical issues and document improvements. Cisco certification CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience. Experience of deploying networking into Warehouse and Plant environments. Extensive Network skills across on-premise and cloud based technologies including: Firewalls, VPN, NATing. In depth knowledge of network security, best practices and technologies.
