We are seeking an experienced contract ETL Developer with strong IBM DataStage expertise to support the end-to-end delivery of a data migration and integration for our customer. This role requires Security Clearance NPPV3.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define requirements and produce detailed technical specifications for:
  • One-off legacy case data extraction and load
  • Daily automated transfer of new case data
  • Design, develop, test and implement robust ETL routines using IBM DataStage
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to gain design sign-off
  • Work with security and governance teams to ensure IRAR and DPIA requirements are fully met
  • Ensure timely delivery against key milestones outlined in the Statement of Work
  • Required Skills & Experience

    • Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage
    • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end ETL solutions in complex data environments
    • Experience working with MS Dynamics 365 as a source system is highly desirable
    • Understanding of data governance, information assurance and secure data transfer protocols
    • Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience in public sector
    • Familiarity with secure transfer methods (e.g. SFTP, secure email, API integrations)
    • Knowledge of data protection regulations and handling sensitive personal data
