Position Summary
As the Territory Manager Vascular Access covering North London and East of England, you will sell, promote and train customers on the full range of Teleflex Arrow Vascular Access products.
Key call points include Vascular Access Teams, Critical Care, Theatres and Procurement.
Building strong relationships with key hospital personnel to maximise sales growth, this role will ensure Teleflex Medical is always positioned as a key and preferred supplier.
Travel expected: 50% of the time across the territory.
Principal Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm on-site sales appointments with key healthcare professionals and decision makers to promote and sell products.
- Conduct initial sales visits and presentations, followed by calls, emails, and hands-on training to generate orders.
- Provide hospitals and clinical staff with up-to-date product information, catalogs, and samples.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
- Expand market share and revenue by growing existing accounts and developing new customers.
- Monitor and record renewal dates of pricing agreements within the customer base.
- Fully utilise the CRM system for managing accounts and tracking sales activities.
- Deliver service education programs following Clinical Medical Affairs guidelines.
- Plan territory coverage proactively based on needs assessments.
- Negotiate sales contracts and pricing, review contracts for follow-up, and manage administrative duties including reporting, forecasting, and complaint handling.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Experience: 2–3 years of medical sales or device experience (Vascular Access preferred).
- Clinical Understanding: Familiarity with Vascular Access Teams, Critical Care, Theatres and Procurement
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, consultative selling, and communication skills.
- Tech Proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM tools.
- Driver’s License
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- This role requires an experienced medical sales professional with at least 3 years in a similar role with experience in managing a large territory, with the following qualifications:
- Appropriate clinical or business qualification.
- A high level of proficiency in the English language and Mathematics is essential.
- Excellent customer ethic, good attention to detail and ability to complete timely progress reports.
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- High level of skill in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Teams.
