We have an excellent opportunity for an Assembly and Test Operator to grow their career within production engineering for energetic devices such as detonators, strip line cables and safety arming units. The Assembly and Test Operator will carry out high‑quality electro‑mechanical assembly and automated testing of safety‑critical products. Working within a skilled team of Technicians and Engineers, the Assembly & Test Operator will follow detailed work instructions, ensure right‑first‑time build quality, and support safe, efficient production processes. The successful candidate will be supported with learning plans, developing their skills to proactively influence the product through production. Key Responsibilities
- Safety
- Promote and maintain a strong safety‑first culture
- Follow all safety procedures, safe systems of work and PPE requirements
- Ensure equipment, tools and processes are operated safely and correctly
