The Product Verification Engineer is responsible for verifying and testing customer requirements across all stages of Space and Science projects. Tasks include electro-optical testing, electrical continuity testing, accelerated life testing, and mechanical stress testing. This role involves working closely with project teams and manufacturing to deliver high-quality devices meeting customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage work packages/tasks to meet deadlines and standards.
- Write project documentation, including test plans and reports, and train staff as needed.
- Commission test equipment, including scripting and coding for ATE.
- Investigate failures and anomalies.
- Support meetings by presenting technical info and taking actions.
- Assist teams outside of Verification, such as Operations and Process Engineering.
- Ensure quality assurance practices are followed throughout projects.
- Participate in process improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- A physics or engineering degree.
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Experience with test development, commissioning, and fault finding.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW or MATLAB in an industrial or lab environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and under pressure.
- Quick learner.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
