Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast-growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups: commercial, defence, and business jet products, this role offers an opportunity to join a team working on highly technical products.

The manufacturing facility features some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe, including a multi-axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine, and multi-axis CNC machining centres. About You: You will work in a dynamic and supportive team with over 100 employees onsite and more than 1,500 across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting customer requirements and meeting business objectives. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided for mutual benefit in your development. This is a long-term opportunity with a company investing in its people through direct 1-2-1 training and development in Composite Lamination techniques.

Job Purpose: As the successful applicant, you will support the Cleanroom by ensuring the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass/carbon into mould tools. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the manufacture of Composite Aerospace parts within the Cleanroom alongside skilled operators who will assist your development.
  • Developing layup methodologies to increase flexibility across all Cleanroom products.
  • Completing all jobs within specified time scales to support salary progression.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety measures within the Cleanroom and the wider organization.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and the upkeep of your work area and the wider Cleanroom.
