Teledyne Energetics UK have been designing and developing solutions for the safety, arming, and initiation technology sector since 1984. This includes military energetic devices from components through to complete systems. Some of the flagship product lines include active vehicle safety systems, sea mine fuzes, modular artillery fuzes, flight termination units, electronic Safe & Arm Units, and electronic Ignition Safety Devices. Design services include modelling and testing of fully packaged circuitry for control and initiation of detonators, which are carried out at our fully licensed site at Lincoln. This is a Compliance Technician role required within a growing business to ensure technical orientated programmes & assets conform to the latest standards. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a practical approach to technical documentation analysis, with a proven track record in delivering detailed programme reports. As the Compliance technician you will be the bridge between internal development & client requirements, ensuring programmes conform to governing guidelines. As part of the compliance team, the role will be under the guidance of senior compliance manager with great opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Review client Statements of Work and Technical Requirement Specification, generating a concise scope of compliance targets.
  • Compile & maintain compliance matrices throughout the lifecycle of projects/programmes, liaising with the relevant stakeholders to assure agreement.
  • Knowledge of latest industry compliance/safety requirements, coordinating with government officials for updated standards.
  • Key strategist for identifying project demands, resolving project uncertainty through compliance & safety assessment for programme risk reduction.
  • Assist in the review and presentation of product assurance for milestone delivery.
  • Support effective transfer of new products into steady state manufacturing.
  • Support ongoing asset lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • A relevant technical focused degree (Scientific, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • 1 – 2 years industry experience preferred.
  • Technically orientated individual with high aptitude for detail.
  • Demonstrated experience literature reviews, complex reports review & delivery.
  • Knowledge of STANAG / MIL-STD / AOP desirable.
  • Appetite for learning and career progression.
