This is an Electronic Reliability Engineer role required within a growing development team. The role is critical in supporting development & manufacturing design reliability analysis. This is a key function within the lifecycle of all the products at TEUK, assuring all assets adhere to design practices & industry standards. As the reliability engineer you will be responsible for reviewing conformance of all safety critical aspects of electronic designs. As part of the reliability team, the role will be under the guidance of senior reliability officer with great opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities:
- FMECA, FTA & Reliability analysis of electronic architecture on development projects
- Assessment of stringent design practices, ensuring conforming electronic design
- Peer-Review electronic schematics, PCB’s & discrete electronics
- Fault analysis through physical & simulation inspection
- Work directly with key stakeholders in the business to determine reliability / safety adherence.
- Obsolescence reviews for active commodities
Requirements:
- Degree/HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering
- 1 – 2 years industry experience preferred
- Experienced in discrete electronic devices involving passives, diodes, transistors, transformers, op-amps, logic gates etc
- Competent with design software such as CADSTAR, LTSpice etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competent in assembly of electronic components and testing hardware.
- Demonstrated experience of accurately delivering highly technical documentation
