Role Description
We are looking for an operator to join our wafer manufacturing team, processing silicon wafers to create imaging sensors for science and space applications. The role of Wafer Processing Operator is to ensure the timely throughput of imaging devices through wafer processing while meeting all quality requirements. These processes take place in cleanrooms, so there is a requirement to work within this environment for long periods wearing a full clean room suit. Entry to the cleanroom requires compliance with policies on makeup and smoking/vaping.

Responsibilities
- Setting up accurately and running a number of wafer processing tools
- Maintaining production records
- Providing progress reports to the Line Manager
- Using chemicals for specific processes
- Using a microscope for inspection
