About Us
Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast-growing manufacturer supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to leading aircraft and aero‑engine producers. Operating across commercial, defence and business jet product groups, this role offers the opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to highly technical products. Our manufacturing facility houses advanced machining technology in Europe, including a multi‑axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and multi‑axis CNC machining centres. Job Purpose
You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team with over 100 employees onsite and 1,500+ across the UK. You will play a key role in supporting customer requirements and meeting business objectives. No previous experience is required as full training is provided for the mutual benefit of the applicant and the business in their development. This is an opportunity to join a company long‑term that invests in people through direct 1‑2‑1 training and development into composite trimming techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the manufacture of composite aerospace parts within the Trim Shop, alongside skilled and experienced operators that will assist in your development.
- Work towards completion of all jobs within the specified time scales to enable progress through salary banding.
- Develop trim methodologies to enable greater flexibility across all Trim Shop products.
- Ensure cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of own work area and wider Trim shop area.
- Process composite aerospace components to specific drawing tolerances.
- Work to national and international aerospace standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Manufacturing experience is desirable but not required.
- Factory experience is desirable.
- Experience working with hand tools.
- Experience with measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, etc.).
