Teledyne Energetics UK is looking for an Electronic Reliability Engineer to join a growing development team. The role is critical in supporting development & manufacturing design reliability analysis across all product life cycles, ensuring all assets adhere to design practices and industry standards. You will review conformance of safety critical aspects of electronic designs under the guidance of a senior reliability officer with opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Perform FMECA, FTA & reliability analysis of electronic architecture on development projects.
- Assess stringent design practices, ensuring conforming electronic design.
- Peer‑review electronic schematics, PCBs & discrete electronics.
- Conduct fault analysis through physical & simulation inspection.
- Work directly with key stakeholders to determine reliability/safety adherence.
- Perform obsolescence reviews for active commodities.
- Support ongoing asset lifecycles.
Requirements
- Degree/HNC/HND in Electronic Engineering.
- 1‑2 years of industry experience preferred.
- Experience with discrete electronic devices (passives, diodes, transistors, transformers, op‑amps, logic gates, etc.).
- Competent with design software such as CADSTAR, LTSpice, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Competent in assembly of electronic components and testing hardware.
- Demonstrated experience in accurately delivering highly technical documentation.
