These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.

Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast‑growing manufacturer of carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies for leading aircraft and aero‑engine producers. The facility houses advanced machining technology such as multi‑axis NDT robotic machines, automated material‑cutting machines, and multi‑axis CNC machining centres.

An experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a practice of developing and implementing new products and general business improvements to maximise production, profitability and customer service within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Please note: This role is based on‑site. We are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interrogate product design data/specifications to develop methods of manufacture and tooling philosophies for composite components
  • Compile accurate process plans, labour breakdowns, bill of materials and tooling solutions to enable accurate estimates and bid proposals
  • Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, shop orders and bills of materials
  • Lead or assist with resolution of day‑to‑day production issues
  • Support RCCA activity using structured problem‑solving techniques (e.g. 8D)
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes
  • Support daily operations meetings
  • Lead and support continuous improvement and margin enhancement projects
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes – Essential
  • Experience in aerospace or other regulated engineering environment – Essential
  • Degree/HNC engineering and/or equivalent professional qualification – Desirable
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques – Desirable
  • Computer literate (MS Office proficient) – Essential
