We are seeking an Export Compliance Site Lead to manage the export compliance program for Teledyne e2v in Chelmsford.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal compliance with relevant export regulations for all controlled products.
  • Provide advice on export license requirements for domestic and international shipments.
  • Coordinate the export authorisations management process and liaise with relevant licensing authorities.
  • Support operational transactional due diligence, internal reviews, investigations and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with internal customers to provide trade compliance expertise and support.
  • Interface with external customers regarding the export compliance program.
  • Coordinate with U.S. counterparts on re‑export authorisations and related requirements.
  • Maintain and update export authorisation databases and documentation.
  • Prepare export related reports and analysis.
  • Lead implementation of Teledyne’s internal trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Identify site compliance training needs and deliver trade compliance training.
  • Monitor visitor reviews and approvals.
  • Stay abreast of export regulations, procedures, laws and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of UK, ITAR and EAR regulations and ability to apply knowledge.
  • Proven experience in an international trade compliance role.
  • Passion for compliance.
  • Experience with SAP Hana is a real plus.
