What You’ll Be involved in:

  • As a Senior RF Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of custom RF components and systems, taking concepts all the way through to production.
  • You’ll work on a wide variety of designs, which may include:
  • RF & Microwave Systems
  • Converters
  • Transceivers
  • Frequency Measurement Systems
  • VCOs & Synthesizers
  • Detector Log Video Amplifiers
  • Limiters & Switches
  • Low Noise Amplifiers
  • You’ll also:
    • Provide technical input across multidisciplinary project teams
    • Support Sales & Marketing with customer meetings and technical discussions
    • Plan and define product development projects from concept to completion
    • Ensure engineering requirements are fully captured and translated into tasks
    • Drive adherence to cost, performance, and delivery requirements
    • Maintain full visibility of design integrity through structured reviews
    • Champion new ideas, innovation, and technical collaboration across the business

    What we’re looking for in you:

    • Strong expertise across RF & Microwave Design, ideally up to 40 GHz
    • Experience developing complex RF components, sub-systems, or systems in Defence, Aerospace, or Communications
    • Familiarity with 3D EM simulation tools (CST, HFSS)
    • Experience using microwave design tools such as AWR or ADS
    • Understanding of mechanical considerations for engineering and production transfer
    • Knowledge of engineering best practices and processes
    • Strong communication skills — able to articulate risks, tasks, and technical considerations clearly
    • A collaborative, team-focused mindset
