These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.

We are looking for an Electronics engineer with an interest in a wide range of disciplines. It is a multi-disciplined role where you work hands on and gain experience with working with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical and electronics. The willingness to wear Self contained Breathing apparatus in this role after you have passed a medical and received training.

This is a double day shift role 06:00 to 14:00 / 13:30 to 21:30.

Detailed Description:

  • Respond rapidly to equipment issues using your electronics knowledge and experience.
  • Working to ensure that a timely repair is carried out, and clear progress updates are provided to the production teams.
  • Perform complex Preventive maintenance activities ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
  • Project work, installing new equipment and Equipment modifications.
  • Providing all the necessary documentation and training to others.
  • Responsible for producing all risk assessments for all equipment.
  • Host and control contractors, review their method statements and risk assessments, issuing a permit to work.

Requirements:

  • Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
  • Having previously worked in a multidisciplined role with a strong electronics skill set.
  • We require all employees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules and regulatory orders.
