The Site Maintenance Coordinator supports factory operations that include plant and production equipment, fixed installations, buildings and site. The coordinator acts as a point of contact for employees, vendors, and contractors, while assisting with facilities projects and administrative tasks.
- Monitor the condition of facilities and report on/action repair of maintenance needs.
- Support office moves, seating plans, and workspace allocation.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, furniture, and facilities related equipment.
- Create and manage work orders for repairs, fully maintain preventative maintenance and calibration schedules, and facilitate site inspections where required.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for maintenance, cleaning contracts, security, and other services.
- Track and follow up on maintenance activities to ensure timely completion to comply with regulatory and business needs.
- Assist with vendor selection, negotiation, and contract monitoring.
- Oversee third party portable appliance, fixed installation, Legionella and other regulatory testing.
- Agree Risk & Method Statements and compliance.
- Support emergency preparedness procedures, including fire drills, safety inspections, and BCP testing.
2 years plus experience of working in factory maintenance: production facilities coordination, building operations, property management, or administrative support.
- IOSH certified as a minimum; training may be considered for the right candidate.
- Ability to work with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) would be an advantage.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and office applications.
