An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA and APAC).

Your responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including our ethics and data privacy programs. Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.
  • Corporate Governance: Maintain corporate records and filings. Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on a variety of matters, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters. Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines as needed.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing disputes and litigation, including coordinating with external counsel when necessary. Help resolve internal and external legal issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Assisting with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Reviewing and advising on NDA's and other commercial agreements.
  • Training and Education: Help deliver training sessions to staff on legal topics, such as data protection, intellectual property, or contract management.

Your Experience:

  • Legal experience (1 year, required)
  • Commercial experience or experience in reviewing commercial contracts
  • Commercial awareness
