Role Overview: As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our daily operations. You will be the central point of coordination between reporters, hospitals and internal teams to ensure service delivery meets contractual, clinical, and operational standards. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day workflow of teleradiology services, ensuring reporting is completed within KPI targets.
- Daily monitoring of the PACS, integrated systems and interfaces.
- Monitor case turnaround times and service-level agreements (SLAs), escalating issues where necessary.
- Maintain trusted relationships with our clients and reporters and act as a first point of contact for operational queries from clients and reporters.
- Support rota management, including scheduling reporters and managing last-minute changes.
- Liaise with IT support to resolve technical issues affecting service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for compliance with CQC, QSI and NHS standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and assist with audits when required.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Operations and leadership team.
- Comply with all company policies and standard operating procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Essential: Previous experience in healthcare operations, medical administration, or a similar coordination role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and take a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clinical and administrative teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Desirable: Experience working in radiology or teleradiology services.
- Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems.
- Experience working with clinical governance frameworks.
