Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP) is a leading global telecommunications and digital infrastructure investment firm. We operate in 16 countries and are backed by leading institutional investors, DigitalBridge and Swiss Life Asset Managers, with over $1.5 billion committed to infrastructure.

TIP acts as a trusted commercial partner to property owners who host structures such as mobile (cell) sites or rooftop antennas. We provide upfront lease payments and professionally manage agreements, giving owners financial security, reducing risk, and handling the long-term complexities of their leases. We also work closely with telecom operators and infrastructure companies, offering reliable, structured access to network sites under clear, professionally managed agreements. This approach allows operators to focus on building and operating networks, while we manage lease administration and complexity.

Our work sits at the intersection of finance, telecom, and real estate, and at the heart of it all is our commitment to long-term partnerships built on trust, transparency, and value.

Our Culture and Values

We’re a company in motion. Like many growing businesses, things move fast and not everything is fully refined. We're building processes, shaping systems, improving how we work, and learning as we go. It’s not always perfect, but that’s where the opportunity lies in making a meaningful impact and helping to shape what TIP becomes next.

  • We Put People First.
  • We Act with Authenticity.
  • We Act with Integrity.

We’re focused on building a culture that supports both pace and progress. That means putting strong foundations in place, being clear on our values, and creating an environment where people can do their best work with trust, autonomy, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.

How You Will Contribute

Please note: This is a full-time maternity cover position, starting in October 2026 and running through to July 2027, with the flexibility to work remotely or on a hybrid basis.

As Legal Counsel at TIP, you’ll provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and support. This is a broad generalist in-house role, giving you exposure to a wide range of day-to-day legal matters across a growing international business.

You’ll work closely with global stakeholders across the business, helping them understand legal and commercial risk and finding practical, proportionate solutions. You’ll also work with external legal advisers where specialist or jurisdiction-specific advice is required, including matters across multiple countries.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, managing a varied workload and balancing legal risk with organisational needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to stakeholders across our global teams.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements
  • Provide advice on employment matters, working closely with HR and relevant stakeholders
  • Support commercial disputes and contentious matters, assessing risk and advising on appropriate next steps
  • Provide practical advice on routine data protection matters and support stakeholders in applying relevant requirements
  • Support company secretarial and general corporate matters as required
  • Advise on matters involving multiple jurisdictions and coordinate with local counsel where specialist advice is required
  • Instruct and manage external legal advisers, including agreeing scope, managing budgets and monitoring legal spend
  • Review external legal advice and translate it into clear, practical recommendations for the business
  • Maintain oversight of legal matters, including actions, deadlines and key risks
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Legal team and contribute to improvements in legal processes, documentation and ways of working

About You

You’re a qualified solicitor with relevant post-qualification experience and broad commercial legal experience, ideally gained in-house or in a role with significant exposure to commercial clients.

You’re comfortable working independently and managing a varied workload, with the judgement to distinguish between matters you can handle yourself and those requiring specialist or jurisdiction-specific support. You’re commercially minded and able to provide clear, practical advice without losing sight of the legal risks involved.

You’ll also be confident working with non-legal stakeholders, building credibility quickly and explaining legal issues in a straightforward way. You’re comfortable constructively challenging where needed, while focusing on finding workable solutions that allow the business to move forward.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Qualification as a solicitor with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Broad commercial legal experience across several areas, such as commercial contracts, employment, disputes, company secretarial/corporate matters and data protection
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to provide proportionate, practical advice
  • Experience managing matters independently and progressing work with limited supervision
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with non-legal colleagues
  • Experience instructing and managing external legal advisers, including scope, budgets and legal spend
  • Confidence working on matters outside your own jurisdiction and coordinating with local counsel
  • Clear and concise communication skills, particularly when explaining legal issues to non-lawyers
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to legal issues
  • Good self-awareness and judgement around when to act independently and when to seek specialist advice
  • The confidence to constructively challenge risks, gaps or existing ways of working
