We’re seeking a dynamic Global Account Manager to join our team for a 1-year fixed-term maternity leave cover, managing and growing a portfolio of large, market-leading international private medical insurers (IPMI) and multinational corporate clients. You’ll build trusted relationships, drive value, and deliver consistent, high-quality service that supports client needs while enabling Teladoc’s continued growth in the virtual care sector.

Contract type: Full-time, 1-year FTC (fixed-term contract) maternity leave cover

Annual salary: Up to £55,000 pa

Annual bonus: subject to personal and business targets

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch), 40 hours/week

Work mode: Hybrid of home and Brighton (a minimum of 2 days per week in office)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of large international private medical insurers and multinational corporate clients.
  • Working with the key client and Teladoc stakeholders to manage and execute on renewals of all contracts in an organised, timely and commercially driven way.
  • Ensure client SLAs, performance targets and commercial obligations are met.
  • Develop clear account plans, tracking client financial performance and profitability.
  • Present and demonstrate our products and services, keeping clients informed on market trends and healthcare developments.
  • Produce and present high-quality client reports, ensuring they are clear, accurate and useful.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver timely, effective support to clients.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships, delivering value and supporting business growth.
  • Report regularly to the Director of Global Accounts on progress, opportunities, and risks for each account.

Skills and Key Requirements:

  • Experience delivering effective results within a global healthcare environment, including but not limited to international private medical insurance, virtual care delivery or the pharmaceutical sector or similar environments.
  • Experience working with international private medical insurance, virtual health or similar client-facing environments.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and growing corporate accounts.
  • Knowledge of supporting clients across multiple regions and understanding their unique challenges.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence working with data and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience managing client escalations and problem-solving effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
