11-18 mixed College with over 1000 pupils on roll – OFSTED RATED OUTSTANDING
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated Teacher of Geography to join our successful and expanding department, which consistently achieves outstanding outcomes.
At our school, we are committed to enabling every student to fulfil their potential and pride ourselves on providing a supportive, collaborative and rewarding environment in which to work. Staff benefit from an extensive programme of professional development, both within the school and through the Eastern Learning Alliance, ensuring opportunities for continual growth at every stage of a teaching career.
Geography is a thriving and highly collaborative department, where colleagues work together to develop and share exceptional resources and teaching practices. Innovation and creativity are at the heart of our curriculum, supported by our one-to-one iPad programme, which enables students to engage with their learning in dynamic and meaningful ways.
We are proud to offer a rich and ambitious Geography curriculum from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5. We welcome applications from teachers with particular areas of expertise or interest who are keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our curriculum and enrich the educational experiences of our students.
This post represents an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive environment or an experienced practitioner seeking to further develop their professional expertise within a high-performing department.
