Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Business Partner & MFT Lead for Finance supporting the Procurement Operational Team for Long Bed and Short Bed Detail Parts
- Provide financial direction for commercial strategy and tendering decisions
- Lead financial decision processes to support commercial negotiations and supplier performance
- Support supplier negotiations, claims, mergers, and acquisitions activities
- Drive annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes across Detail Parts Procurement
- Validate improvement projects, business cases, ROI, and financial assumptions
- Provide robust financial reporting and risk visibility to operational and controlling teams
- Challenge operational performance and implement mitigation actions where required
- Drive investment proposals and performance improvement projects
- Financial controlling across:
- Recurring Cost
- Inventory
- Non-Recurring Cost
- Capex
- Jigs / Tools (on request)
Key Stakeholders:
- Local & central controlling teams
- Operational managers
- Head of Procurement Materials & Detail Parts
- UK cost/financial accounting teams
This role operates in a matrix organisation requiring strong stakeholder management and supplier negotiation capability.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with minimum 5 years PQE in manufacturing or commercial environment
- Strong SAP or equivalent financial reporting tool experience
- Experience working as a Finance Business Partner in a large organisation
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Experience managing operational finance activities
- Ability to work independently across varied financial activities
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders and board members
- Continuous improvement mindset
