Overview: TekWissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the UK, Europe and many other countries in the world. The client is a global professional services company with leading capabilities in digital, cloud, and security.

Programme Overview: The programme involves migrating payments processing capabilities from a legacy setup operated via a third-party into a new target environment within the client.

Immediate Objective:

  • Exit the existing third-party dependency quickly by re-establishing connectivity and processing capability in the target environment with minimal disruption and limited redesign.
  • Execute ETL pipelines and migration runs, troubleshoot data defects, and support dress rehearsals and go-live.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-On Experience delivering data migration in banking environments, specifically within payments or similarly critical transaction systems.
  • IBM DB2 on Mainframe strong expertise required.
  • Indexing, clustering, partitioning and archiving - Query optimisation in high-volume environments.
  • Large Scale Systems Experience working with high-throughput systems where data extraction must be performed without impacting live processing.

Demonstrated Capability:

  • Data mapping and lineage.
  • Extraction strategies from complex and congested tables.
  • Reconciliation and validation of migrated datasets.
  • ETL processes in controlled production environments.
  • Safe Extraction Design with no disruption to BAU payment processing.
  • Controlled handling of production risk.

Seniority Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
  • Proactive identification of issues and early and clear escalation of risks.
