The HV&E Manager – Migraine will provide both scientific and operational support to the Global HTA, Value & Evidence Migraine team. Reporting to an HV&E Director, this role supports Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives focused on migraine therapies, including rimegepant. The successful candidate will manage administrative activities such as budget tracking, contracting, invoicing, publication management, and project coordination, while also supporting the planning and execution of evidence-generation studies. The role requires strong project management capabilities, scientific understanding of HEOR methodologies, and collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative & Project Support
- Support migraine team activities related to study protocols and project development.
- Perform quality control (QC) reviews of study protocols led by the global team.
- Maintain study documentation within the client's systems and external registries, including GDMS and EU PASS.
- Coordinate study meetings and communications with vendors and stakeholders.
- Support ad hoc literature searches, publication identification, and information requests.
- Review and QC vendor-delivered materials as required.
- Manage publication tracking activities for global HV&E-sponsored publications.
- Budget, Contracting & Operational Management
- Serve as the primary contact for project, study, and budget tracking databases.
- Collaborate with project managers and budget owners to monitor project funding and expenditures.
- Maintain and update budget tracking systems.
- Track vendor and KOL invoices and ensure timely processing.
- Coordinate contracting activities for vendors, consultants, and KOLs.
- Manage compliance processes associated with KOL engagements using the client's systems.
- Scientific Responsibilities
- Support the design, management, and execution of migraine-related RWE studies aligned with evidence-generation strategies.
- Contribute to study design and analytical approaches in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Partner with internal experts and external KOLs to interpret study findings.
- Support development and execution of publication plans.
- Oversee manuscript development with external medical writing support.
- Manage journal submission activities and publication processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Policy, Health Services Research, or a related field. Advanced degree required (MSc, PhD, or equivalent graduate qualification) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Services Research, Pharmacy, Health Policy, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience within academia, consulting, pharmaceutical industry, or a related research environment. Experience applying HEOR methodologies and evidence-generation principles. Understanding of observational study design and analysis.
