About the Role
Tektora is working with a leading technology organisation to find a skilled Network Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure across a secure environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience in Cisco and Fortinet technologies, looking to develop their career within a high-assurance setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, support and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
- Collaborate with wider technical teams on network improvement and security hardening initiatives
- Ensure documentation and network diagrams are up to date
- Maintain compliance with industry and security standards in a sensitive environment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active SC Clearance (or eligible for SC)
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP-level knowledge desirable)
- Solid experience with Fortinet firewalls and security appliances
- Proven experience managing and supporting WiFi networks
- Comfortable working in secure, high-availability environments
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to or experience with Cisco Campus networking environments
- Experience working within the Defence or Public Sector
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools and best practices
