Tektora is supporting a secure programme of work that requires an experienced Deployment Engineer to deliver across multiple phases of a high-profile infrastructure rollout. You’ll work hands-on with Juniper networking technologies and SolarWinds monitoring solutions, taking projects from detailed design right through to deployment, testing, and handover. This is a fast-moving, high-security environment where attention to detail and precision delivery are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Juniper Network Deployment
- Translate project requirements into clear, detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
- Produce build guides and service documentation to support smooth delivery
- Stage, configure, and deploy Juniper devices in line with project milestones
- Carry out structured testing and validation within a secure data centre
- Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and address remediation actions
- SolarWinds Monitoring Solutions
- Design, configure, and document SolarWinds Observability/NPM environments
- Implement SNMP and syslog filtering aligned to operational requirements
- Build and configure servers to host monitoring platforms
- Create tailored dashboards that provide meaningful service insights
- Support software import and licensing processes in coordination with procurement
- Additional (Desirable) Technical Scope
- Deployment and configuration of VMware Horizon, NTP, and Cisco ISE
- Testing, staging, and documenting additional platform builds
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background deploying Juniper infrastructure in enterprise or secure settings
- Proven experience with SolarWinds Observability and/or NPM
- Skilled in producing LLDs, build documentation, and testing scripts
- Knowledge of working to strict security and compliance frameworks
- Clear communicator with the ability to liaise across technical and non-technical teams
Bonus Points For
- Experience in MOD or other public sector environments
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE and VMware Horizon
- Understanding of infrastructure security best practice
