Overview
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support BAU operations within a secure, high-availability environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising VMware infrastructure, ensuring resilience, performance, and security across virtualised platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer VMware vSphere environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, and resource pools
- Design and maintain vSAN hyper-converged storage solutions
- Configure and manage HA/DRS for high availability and failover resilience
- Manage VMware networking including vSwitches, distributed switches, VLANs, and segmentation
- Support backup and disaster recovery integrations (e.g., Veeam, SRM, Zerto)
- Automate provisioning using PowerCLI and templates
- Monitor and optimise performance across hosts and VMs
- Apply security hardening and compliance controls
Desirable
- VMware Horizon / VDI experience
- Experience in secure or regulated environments
