We’re supporting a leading engineering and technology organisation delivering cutting-edge solutions across defence and secure environments. They’re looking for a Design Engineer to contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed engineering designs (mechanical/electrical depending on specialism)
- Work across CAD tools to create models, drawings, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and systems engineering
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
- Ensure designs meet regulatory and security requirements
Requirements
- Experience in engineering design (mechanical, electrical, or systems)
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo)
- Understanding of design for manufacture (DFM)
- Ability to obtain SC clearance
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
