We’re supporting a leading engineering and technology organisation delivering cutting-edge solutions across defence and secure environments. They’re looking for a Design Engineer to contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce detailed engineering designs (mechanical/electrical depending on specialism)
  • Work across CAD tools to create models, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and systems engineering
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and security requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in engineering design (mechanical, electrical, or systems)
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo)
  • Understanding of design for manufacture (DFM)
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
