Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared Engineering Process Architects for a contract opportunity within the Joint Design Team, shaping the engineering process and governance that underpins Major Service Change.

This role would suit someone with a strong technical engineering background who has designed engineering development processes within defence or complex engineering programmes and is looking to develop further across governance, continuous delivery tooling and multi-supplier assurance.

The Role

You will be involved in:

  • Assisting MOD stakeholders in the design, development and optimisation of the overarching engineering process and governance
  • Enabling effective delivery of Major Service Change across its different categories
  • Tailoring process and governance to cater for continuous delivery pipeline tooling
  • Tailoring process and governance to cater for automated testing
  • Assisting supplier stakeholders in designing and optimising their own engineering processes, governance and related tooling
  • Assuring supplier compliance against the overarching MOD processes
  • Providing advice and guidance to MOD and supplier stakeholders on engineering process and governance
  • Engaging multidisciplinary technical teams and senior stakeholders across the programme

Key Experience Required

  • UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
  • Strong technical engineering background across system design, integration or related disciplines
  • Experience within defence or complex engineering projects
  • Proven ability to design and implement engineering development processes that support technical delivery
  • Understanding of systems engineering principles and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical teams and stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions
  • Relevant engineering or technical qualification
  • Experience with project management and engineering lifecycle methodologies
  • Exposure to continuous delivery pipeline tooling and automated test frameworks
  • Prior work within a Joint Design Team or equivalent MOD design authority
