Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage Support Engineers for a contract opportunity on a high level government account.
This role would suit someone with a backup and storage support background who is comfortable with event monitoring, triage and escalation in a secure environment and is looking to develop further across lifecycle management and disaster recovery.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Maintaining and supporting the backup and storage solution to allow high availability of data in the event of loss or disaster recovery
- Conducting daily checks of the solution
- Monitoring Event Management tooling, with triage and escalation critical to the role
- Assisting a high profile user community with daily contact with customers and stakeholders
- Working through the IT Service Management toolset
- Producing documentation and maintaining the product's lifecycle management
- Working alongside an established team of 2nd and 3rd Line engineers
- Travelling to other customer sites as required
Key Experience Required
- UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
- Dell EMC storage solutions including Avamar and Data Domain
- Event Management tooling, for example SCOM
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Willing to work a shift pattern and travel to customer sites
- Microsoft PKI
- ITSM tooling and processes
- Prior delivery within a secure or Defence environment
