Account Manager – Secure Central Government & Defence

Location: UK-based, ideally South / Central England
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with travel to customer sites as required

Tektora are supporting a secure central government and defence client who are looking to speak with cleared Account Managers for a permanent opportunity covering high-security government and defence account sets.

This role would suit someone with an established account network across UK central government or defence who has carried a quota selling networking, cyber security, infrastructure or enterprise IT into secure environments, either directly or through primes and GSIs.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Owning and growing a defined account set across secure central government or defence
• Developing new business alongside existing account growth
• Building and maintaining senior relationships within your account set
• Selling directly into government accounts and through primes, GSIs and defence contractors
• Managing complex public sector sales cycles end to end
• Building and maintaining pipeline against a quota
• Working across networking, cyber security, infrastructure, service assurance and critical national infrastructure propositions
• Travelling to customer sites across the UK as required

Key Experience Required

• Current or recent DV or STRAP clearance, or equivalent high-security clearance experience — SC will be considered
• Proven account growth and new business record within networking, cyber security, infrastructure, service assurance, critical infrastructure or enterprise IT
• Experience selling directly into government accounts, or via primes, GSIs or defence contractors
• Demonstrable quota ownership, account growth and pipeline development
• Established relationship networks within the relevant account sets
• UK-based, ideally South or Central England, and willing to travel to customer sites
• Direct experience across one or more of: FCDO, Prime Minister’s Office, Cabinet Office, MOJ, Prisons, DEFRA
• Direct experience across one or more of: MOD, defence contractors, DSIT, DESNZ
• Experience in critical national infrastructure or service assurance propositions
