Role Overview
The Billing Administrator is an entry‑level role ideal for someone eager to start or grow a career in technology, operations, or telecoms. You will report into a Senior or Lead Billing Analyst and focus on hands‑on billing tasks, data changes, and customer administration, rather than managing customer accounts. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day‑to‑day billing administration tasks, including manual data updates, configuration changes and data checks.
- Support Senior/Lead Billing Analysts during monthly billing cycles, assisting with validations and quality checks.
- Process customer requests and changes accurately and within SLAs.
- Raise, monitor, and resolve tickets through our internal systems.
- Assist with importing data files, reviewing exceptions, and completing corrective actions.
- Liaise with customers (via email and phone) to resolve straightforward queries.
- Escalate more complex incidents to Billing Analysts and collaborate to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and follow internal processes to a high standard.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of billing processes and customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organisational and time‑management skills
- Confident using spreadsheets and general office applications
- A positive “can‑do” attitude and willingness to learn
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in telecoms, billing, finance ops, or data administration
