Overview

The architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is entering a major technology transition. For decades, compliance checking, coordination, and project workflows have relied on rule‑based software built around hard‑coded logic. A new generation of AI‑native platforms is now changing how firms manage regulations, organisational knowledge, and project intelligence. Tektome is building that next generation. Our products are already in production at major Japanese AEC firms, and our UK operation is now expanding. We are looking for an Enterprise Account Director to lead commercial growth across the UK and Europe during a defining stage of the company’s development. This is a strategic enterprise sales role for someone who wants to help build a category‑defining company within one of the world’s largest industries.

About Tektome

Tektome develops AI‑native software for the AEC industry. Our Platform Includes:

  • AI BIM Checker – AI‑driven compliance and design review
  • ReqManager – regulation and requirement management
  • KnowledgeBuilder – organisational knowledge structuring and retrieval

Together, these products form a multi‑intelligence platform designed for the future of architecture, engineering, and construction workflows.

The Role

As Enterprise Account Director for the UK and Europe, you will lead enterprise commercial engagements across the region, working directly with architecture firms, engineering consultancies, contractors, and developer‑builders. You will work closely with Tektome’s founder and leadership team to help establish the company’s commercial presence in Europe. This role combines enterprise sales, strategic relationship management, and market development. It is well suited to someone who thrives in high‑autonomy environments and enjoys building commercial structure within an emerging category.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead enterprise sales engagements: Own complex commercial conversations from initial engagement through agreement and long‑term account development.
  • Grow strategic relationships: Manage and expand relationships with leading firms across the UK and Europe.
  • Build commercial structure: Help shape qualification approaches, pilot structures, pricing discussions, and enterprise engagement strategy.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments: Work across innovation teams, BIM leadership, operations, technical stakeholders, procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Partner closely with technical and delivery teams: Collaborate with Solutions Architects and implementation specialists throughout the customer journey.
  • Contribute to company strategy: Bring market insight directly into product positioning, commercial strategy, and regional growth planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience selling enterprise software into AEC: You have experience working with architecture, engineering, construction, or infrastructure organisations.
  • Enterprise sales experience: You have managed complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement processes, pilots, and long‑term commercial relationships.
  • Comfort operating in early‑stage environments: You are comfortable working with ambiguity, helping define processes, and contributing beyond a narrowly defined remit.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking: You understand how enterprise organisations make decisions and how to build alignment across technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Executive‑level communication skills: You are confident in communicating with senior leaders and translating technical capability into strategic business value.

Why Join Tektome

  • The product is already in market: Our products are deployed with major enterprise customers.
  • The market timing is significant: The AEC industry is at the beginning of a major AI transition.
  • The role offers genuine ownership: You will help shape how the UK and European business develops.
  • You will work directly with leadership: This role partners closely with founder and CEO Naoki Kitamura and the wider leadership team.
