• Comprehensive understanding of Mainframe Storage Management principals • Extensive knowledge in the design of storage solutions and the configuration of storage hardware. • Comprehensive understanding of the mainframe operating systems • Fully competent in the configuration and support of the IBM range of storage controllers, both hardware and software • Comprehensive understanding of IBM’s GDPS and PPRC for data replication and disaster recovery. • Fully competent in the configuration and support of Dell Disk Library for Mainframe virtual tape technology • Comprehensive understanding of ICF catalog and management. • Competent in the configuration and support of TDMF. • Fully competent in the use of CA disk utilities for mainframe. • Competent in the use of JCL. • Extensive understanding of FICON/Network management
