In this role, you will oversee all governance and financial reporting for programme(s) and project(s), working closely with stakeholders across IT, Global Businesses, Finance and the CTO Change Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight of programme(s)/project(s) financial and outcome accountability, reporting to a CTO Change Lead (Real Estate Portfolio, End User Services).
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders within IT, Global Businesses, Finance and work with peers to generate reports as required.
  • Work closely with the respective CTO Change Lead and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of projects/programmes with the wider change portfolio and group strategy, values and behaviour.
  • Provide executive level overview of progress and generate status and cost reports.
  • Provide financial analysis, contextualising financial data into business activities and conclusions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial processes and procedures at project/programme level, as set and communicated by the Bank, regulators and CTO PPM Practice.
  • Own the identification and escalation of budgetary related risks, issues and opportunities to the CTO Change Lead.
  • Utilise the bank’s approved AI tools to deliver optimisation opportunities across the portfolio team.
  • Define and deliver process enhancements to streamline project engagement, budgeting, tracking and controls.
  • Generate ad‑hoc reports proactively to support delivery and execution.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant IT experience; Project, Programme Management with Governance & Reporting experience.
  • Excellent understanding and proven experience of PMP methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Ability to direct and influence people in a matrix orientated environment and establish working partnerships at junior and senior organisational levels.
  • Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior executives across the business.
  • Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language for a global remit.
  • Strong financial analytical background and proven financial/analytical reasoning, including contextualising financial data into business activities.
  • High level of drive and motivation to deliver a broad range of outputs simultaneously across the Bank.
  • Experience of driving continuous improvement.
