SENIOR MESSAGING ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage core UC services, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with IT management and other functional groups to design, develop, deploy, and administer collaboration services.
- Participate in product evaluations, system testing, and product lifecycle management.
- Enforce security controls when enabling new UC applications and features, while continuously documenting and maintaining these controls.
- Participate in both scheduled and unscheduled system maintenance, including change management, on-call, and off-hours systems support.
- Maintain a UC Service Catalogue detailing service definitions and the technologies utilized.
- Ensure governance of each UC application and feature, in line with Information Security and Governance (ISG) standards.
- Develop and maintain technical designs, standards, and process documentation for all UC applications and features.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a 3rd line Unified Communications Engineer.
- Expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing solutions within an organization.
- Proficiency in delivering, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Exchange (both Online and On-Premise).
- Experience in supporting Microsoft Teams.
- Proficiency in maintaining, supporting, and managing Cisco IronPorts (e.g., ESA).
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies, preferably Workspace One.
- Strategic planning and decision-making skills to align IT with business objectives.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with a pragmatic approach to administration, governance, and risk management.
