Job Description
As a Senior Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance Quality Assurance and Compliance Monitoring and Testing Teams. These teams are essential components of the regulatory compliance framework, and your work will enhance their efficiency and effectiveness in assessing business operations in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for data extraction, analysis, and the creation and optimisation of metrics and dashboards.
Responsibilities
Enhance existing analytics and build new ones to demonstrate the Teamsβ achievements.
Extract, clean, and analyse large datasets from one or multiple sources to provide actionable insights for ongoing assessments.
Synthesize data learnings into thematic insights and communicate them to internal stakeholders.
Develop, refine, and automate core metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure business performance.
Enhance existing and create new sampling methodologies that are statistically justifiable and easily repeatable.
Conduct statistical analysis and predictive modelling to forecast trends and improve resource allocation and cost savings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in developing and producing metrics and reporting.
Proficient in data analysis using tools such as SQL, Snowflake.
Great knowledge of statistical sampling concepts and experience in applying them.
Experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
Ability to independently create outcomes for analytics projects and tasks.
A track record of delivering innovative solutions timely and accurately.
Strong communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced level in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.
B.A./B.S. degree in business, statistics, or other related fields.
