Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Recovery & Data Protection Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data protection and cyber recovery solutions. This role focuses on helping organizations strengthen cyber resilience through secure backup strategies, isolated recovery environments, ransomware protection, and rapid recovery capabilities across hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data protection, backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Build and deploy cyber recovery vaults utilizing air-gapped and immutable architectures.
  • Conduct cyber recovery assessments, readiness workshops, and recovery testing exercises.
  • Implement and integrate analytics solutions to identify data corruption and support clean recovery processes.
  • Advise clients on best practices for backup, retention, security, governance, and compliance.
  • Optimize data protection environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Support solution architecture, technical workshops, and stakeholder presentations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in data protection, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Proven knowledge of cyber recovery strategies and ransomware resilience.
  • Solid understanding of air-gapped architectures, immutable storage, and cyber recovery vault design.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise data protection platforms such as PowerProtect Cyber Recovery, PowerProtect Data Manager, Data Domain or equivalent technologies including Rubrik, Cohesity, or Commvault.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience delivering projects within complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CyberSense or other analytics-based threat detection solutions.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools.
  • Relevant certifications in backup, recovery, cloud, or cybersecurity technologies.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
