This role is a rolling 6-month contract, expected to extend up to 2 years, offering you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming network systems. Responsibilities Lead strategic network replacement initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise on network transformations. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless infrastructure transitions. Guide technical decision-making across multiple phases. Oversee hands-on network deployment and maintenance. Ensure smooth execution of network replacement strategies. Optimize performance of live networks while transitioning. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers. Essential Skills SC clearance required. Desnez clearance preferred for immediate start; other clearances require ERA exception process. Extensive knowledge in network transformation projects. Experience leading teams through complex network changes. Strong troubleshooting and risk mitigation skills. Strong experience in network engineering. Deep understanding of routing, switching, and firewall management. Ability to work within critical infrastructure environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications MUST have Security Clearance Work Environment The role involves working at datacenters in Warwick and Wokingham. It offers a hybrid work model, with some remote work and datacenter visits. On-site requirements may vary by week, providing a balanced work-life structure.
