I am currently looking for an experienced Safety Manager to support one of the world's largest organisations within the distribution and logistics sector. This is a highly visible role focused on conducting safety reviews across multiple operational sites and supporting the deployment of new robotics and automation machinery within a fast-paced environment.
Key Details:
- Initial 7-8 month contract - Inside IR35
- Opportunity to transition into a permanent position
- Available within the next two weeks
- London-based with regular onsite presence required
- Extensive travel across the UK and Europe
- Supporting safety assessments, reviews, audits and operational readiness activities
- Working closely with engineering, operations and project teams during the rollout of advanced robotics solutions
Ideal Experience:
- Proven background in Health & Safety leadership within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, automation or engineering environments
- Experience conducting site safety reviews and risk assessments
- Exposure to robotics, automation or machinery implementation programmes would be highly advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels
