Qlik Sense Designer
This contract role suits an experienced Qlik Sense Designer who enjoys creating intuitive, visually engaging dashboards and reporting solutions that support informed decision‑making.
You will work within a growing Data & Analytics function, partnering closely with business users, analysts, and technical teams to translate complex requirements into high‑quality visual analytics products using Qlik Sense.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, reports, and visualisations that are intuitive and user‑friendly.
- Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into effective and scalable reporting solutions.
- Create visually engaging dashboards that highlight key metrics and drive actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Develop KPI frameworks, scorecards, and management information reporting to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
- Build and maintain robust Qlik Sense data models that support reliable and performant reporting.
- Integrate and transform data from multiple source systems to create consistent and trusted datasets.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all reporting outputs, addressing data quality issues where needed.
- Optimise dashboard performance and user experience by refining data models, queries, and visual design.

Essential Skills
- Proven experience designing and developing dashboards within Qlik Sense.
- Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices, including how to present complex data clearly and effectively.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document reporting and analytics requirements.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets in a business intelligence or analytics context.
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts relevant to Qlik Sense and business intelligence solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on turning data into meaningful insights.
