Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Software Developer with profound expertise in Python, cloud-native development, and software architecture to join our Customer Success Tooling & Automation team. This role is perfect for a senior-level engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about creating scalable, modern solutions that aid internal teams and customers. You will be instrumental in designing and delivering tools and automation that speed up customer onboarding, support professional services, and enhance partner integrations. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and help guide the technical direction of the team.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable software solutions using Python.
- Lead cloud-native development efforts, primarily on AWS, focusing on performance and maintainability.
- Apply DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and deployment automation.
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Integrate AI/ML models and orchestration logic into product workflows as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support professional services, partner programs, and support engineering initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth.

- Maximise Customer Value & Revenue through strategic integration with the companies Professional Services.
- Accelerate Customer Time to Value by streamlining and automating deployment processes.
- Transform Customer ROI and drive retention and expansion by maximizing the value derived from licensed company features.
- Enhance Customer Experience by ensuring optimal performance and resiliency in the companies deployments through configuration best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in Python.
- Proven experience in software architecture and cloud programming, especially with AWS.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Strong experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps).
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC practices.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed team across EMEA, US, and India.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, Azure Expert).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, VPNs, proxies).
- Experience supporting professional services and partner enablement programs.
