Our banking client is seeking a procurement specialist responsible for efficient and cost‑effective sourcing of products and services across all categories, with a strong focus on IT procurement (software, hardware, networking, data centers). This role supports London‑based stakeholders while collaborating with global procurement teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience (must be within banking).
  • Experience with contracts, negotiations and external vendors.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and procurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement projects with medium complexity and risk.
  • Negotiate and manage local supplier contracts independently.
  • Support development of sourcing strategies, pricing models, and negotiation tactics.
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, contract law, and third‑party risk frameworks (e.g., DORA).
  • Work closely with Corporate Procurement HQ and nearshore teams to optimise sourcing.
