Requirements

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or a related field.
• We require 12 years of experience in information technology and/or IT professional services.
• We require 5 years of experience in client-facing presales roles developing new business.
• We require hands‑on experience in solution design and development with cloud‑native architectures, microservices, containerisation, and Dev Ops practices.
• We require deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure platform, including application migration and development, Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, SQL Server, and Azure Data Services.
• We require experience with front‑end application development using SQL and Azure AI tools.
• We require experience using AI technologies applied to software development and business applications.
• We require strong writing and client‑facing communication skills.
• We require experience across technology platforms, application architecture, design, and delivery.
• We require software or services pre‑sales experience and a strong, dynamic approach.
• We require strong business acumen, including the ability to develop business cases and gather business requirements.
• We prefer Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or similar certifications.
• We prefer experience in engagement management and project management across the full application development lifecycle using methodologies such as AGILE/SCRUM, RUP, and Waterfall.
• We prefer experience developing project estimations, planning, and scheduling.
• We prefer experience administering client professional services agreements, including change management.
• We prefer a strong drive to stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in application and data modernisation, including AI domains.
• We require the ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• We collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals related to application and data modernisation, including automation and AI initiatives.
• We design and architect scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions leveraging Microsoft’s Azure platform and cloud services.
• We ensure solutions align with industry best practices and relevant standards and regulations.
• We provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and ongoing support.
• We outline solutions including diagrams, team member work estimates, timelines, and costs.
• We manage solution roadmap, planning estimation, and initial delivery efforts through assessment and recommendations.
• We participate in RFx responses and develop strategies to expand business within our Azure practice.
• We work with Sales and Contract teams to ensure proposed solutions are accurately translated into contracts.
• We collaborate with account executives to provide technical sales support to close deals.
• We coordinate with delivery teams on project team assignments to meet customer needs.
• We present case studies to customers on delivered work.
• We determine whether services fit customer requirements and direct them to appropriate consulting practices.
• We contribute to opportunity pursuits in landing, expanding, and protecting business across verticals.
• We collaborate with practices on the evolution of service offerings and presales materials.
• We ensure smooth turnover from sales to delivery, managing expectations, schedules, and ramp‑up time frames.
• We maintain relationship management and conduct status checks with clients.
• We act as technology consultants, providing advisory and thought leadership support.
