Join a dynamic team as an SC Cleared Security Engineer. This contractor role is fully remote and initially for six months, with the expectation of extensions. The position requires active SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for network security infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex networking issues involving multiple systems and layers of infrastructure.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
- Participate in planning, design, and implementation of network security measures to protect systems and data.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security protocols into network architecture and operations.
- Deploy and maintain network security devices such as Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
