We are seeking a dynamic technology leader to join our GCP Platform team as a GCP Sr Architect for a Permanent Position. This role will be pivotal in building and delivering GCP cloud capabilities and solutions to internal and external clients, ensuring the successful transformation of legacy platforms and workloads into robust, scalable, and modern cloud-based workloads and services. Reporting to the Director of GCP Platform, this role will be responsible for leading development, sales, solution and delivery of GCP Cloud capabilities. You will lead a team of Sr. Cloud Architects and Engineers to build and deliver GCP Cloud platform capabilities ensuring high availability, security and efficiency for our customers. This role will be accountable for ensuring delivery excellence and providing thought leadership to our customer’s executive and technical leadership.
Required Skills
- Expertise and in-depth knowledge of GCP Services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Big Query, Cloud Storage and Networking
- Experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL
- Experience with DevOps tools and deployment patterns
- Strong understanding of High Availability and Multi Region Architectures
- Hands on experience in Data & Application Migrations to GCP
- Proven scripting experience in languages like Python, Go, etc.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodology
- Well-informed of multiple development/scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, Python
- Good understanding in design and implementation of production infrastructure as code solution using one or more tools: Terraform, Helm Chart
- Hands-on experience / Knowledgeable of GCP data and visualization services (such as Big Query, Spark, Looker, Data Studio, Data Flow, Google Cloud Functions)
