Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and logical models for bank data such as products, loans, customers, AML transactions.
  • Develop conceptual and logical models for investment banking data concepts (client and counterparty, products and instruments, trades and transactions, positions, risk and finance, market data, collateral data).
  • Align all models to a common modelling language, naming conventions, and reusable patterns to ensure consistency across products.
  • Ensure each data product model provides a clear, actionable bridge between business requirements and upstream authoritative data sources.
  • Facilitate structured sessions with SMEs and the data office to validate definitions, resolve discrepancies, and capture requirements.
  • Define and embed modelling standards, metadata requirements, and quality controls aligned with the data governance framework.
  • Operate within a factory model, delivering multiple data product models concurrently in an iterative, high‑throughput approach.
  • Coordinate with onsite leadership and offshore teams to accelerate delivery and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects, data governance leads, solution designers and engineering teams to ensure models are understood, maintainable and actionable.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with Erwin/ER Studio.
  • Experience with dimensional, 3NF, and Data Vault modelling.
  • Familiarity with end‑to‑end data modelling concepts.
  • Prior experience in conceptual/logical modelling within capital markets or investment banking.
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as Hackolade and Erwin.
  • Investment banking experience preferred; broader banking knowledge is desirable.
