ATM Software Engineer
Inside IR35 Contract
We're looking for an experienced ATM Software Stack Engineer to help develop, deploy and support the software that underpins ATM and self-service services. This is a hands-on engineering role covering the ATM software stack, from application development and configuration through to deployment, device integration and production support across a multi-vendor ATM estate.
What you'll be doing:
Developing and configuring ATM applications.
Developing and maintaining scripts to install, configure and deploy ATM applications and supporting components.
Supporting application deployment across multiple ATM hardware platforms and vendors .
Developing and supporting CEN/XFS integrations with ATM devices and peripherals.
Investigating complex issues across ATM applications, deployment scripts, operating systems, XFS components, service providers and physical devices.
Using application logs, XFS traces and other diagnostic information to perform root-cause analysis.
Providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
Improving application build, deployment, testing and support processes through automation.
You'll Have:
Experience developing, configuring or supporting applications within complex production environments.
Strong knowledge of CEN/XFS and ATM/self-service device integration .
Experience developing or maintaining deployment, configuration or automation scripts .
Experience deploying applications and software components across distributed hardware estates.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience analysing application logs and technical traces to identify root causes.
Good knowledge of Windows application environments.
The ability to operate as a technical SME and provide guidance to other engineers.
Experience working across multiple technical disciplines and understanding the dependencies between them.
